Grandma Basketball skills July 26, 2014
I have so many memories of you Jake, but another one I thought of today was the time you showed me your basketball skills!  We had just arrived for one of the holidays and you were at the door in the garage and said "Watch this Grandma!"  You had that basketball going through your legs and around your back just like a pro!  I was very impressed, you were so young to be able to do all that!  Of course you always had that wonderful smile!  I think whenever you said anything, I could hear a smile in your voice.
Loving you always Smile
Nico Rogers the pain n memories July 23, 2012
Ive never cried so much in my life when we lost you man. It was really unbelievable until i went to your viewing. The lord took you so early and i still ponder on why. I know he works in mysterious ways though. I really miss you Jacob because we always had a great time together and never once had a fight. to thsi day i have never met anyone as cool and wonderful as you. You were truly one of a kind. I sure with you we both would've had great future. things have never been the same now that youre gone. You are truly my angel though. I know for a fact you have helped me through the dangerous and sad times in my life. Your spirit is very real and i know its in heaven...

My favorite of many memories we had together would be the many times me you and taylor epps went to bushgardens in tampa. The trip we took to NYC. The basketball leagues we competed in with our very own custom jerseys ( i wish i knew where my jersey is now? :) I remember sleep overs at my house  stayin up and watchin friday the thirteenth and the many more movies. And i will also never forget your orginal sling shot shooting style.. you were one of the best basketball players ive seen and the best ive ever played with... we will be a team forever me you and our other true friends and family.

Thank you so much jacob for being the person you were and thank you for watching over me and others even right now and until we come to heaven with you brother!

I love you so much Jacob !!!

I was reading Susan's post about the fire truck and it brought back memories of Jacob when he lived in Freesoil, Michigan next to my house. Justin, my brother, and I  would always make Jacob say the word "fire truck". Jacob was really little at the time so instead of actually saying "fire truck" he would pronounce truck as a bad word. All of us kids would get the biggest kick out of it and keep telling him to say fire truck just so we would get a good laugh out of it. He also would say shitten instead of chicken. I can remember Aunt Lisa yelling at us from the other room to quit having him say those words because he was swearing! Ha-ha!
Grandma Susan

Last Sunday, the minister was speaking of his memories of his Christmas's when he was a child.  He remembered getting a big fire truck with ladders, etc.  He said it was spectacular!!  It reminded me of the time we gave you a fire truck for Christmas.  You loved it!!  I think it was the best present we ever gave anyone!  You liked it so much!!  You were so darling that year.  I remember taking care of you and loved cuddling you and just watching you as you played.  You would always look at Grandma to see if I was watching you.  We had such a special relationship.

Logan has been born since your passing, and he reminds me so much of you when you were his age.  He loves to eat everything, just like you always did.

We have so many memories Jacob!  You are missed so much and I smile often at the memories we had together.

Grandma Susan * Grandpa Tom

Jacob gave us 12 years of joy and We shall never forget our darling grandson.

We are so glad he lived near us from 5 months to 4 years.  It was so fun having Christmas with he and his two brothers when they talked baby talk.  We are so lucky to have great video's with him and his brother's.

It made me feel so good when I would knock on their door, and they would all run to see Grandma!  "Grandma's Here!!"  Someone would yell.  What a special feeling that would give me.

We had such fun on our sleepovers at Grandma's and Grandpa's.

We were so delighted when he and his family moved back to Florida when he was 8 years old.  We got to enjoy lots more time with them then when they lived in Michigan.

We all miss Jake in our lives and hope to have him greet us when it is our time to cross to the other side.
